Teaser Tuesday.

  1. Grab your current read.
  2. Open to a random page.
  3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
  4. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  5. Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser this week is from Frank Delaney's Shannon: A Novel (page 4):

"Forward of the ship, seabirds flapped up from the little waves. On a rock a
cormorant waited, an etching in black angles. The spreading river shone like
gray satin; later it would turn sapphire under the blue sky."
(I know I cheated a bit today with three sentences, but it was so pretty I didn't want to break it up. :p)

Gorgeous description of the water! I've seen that transformation - from gray to blue or the other way around. Great teaser!

Mine's here.
