Hello, welcome and thank you for visiting my blog!

The Basics:

I love to read. But unfortunately, not many people I know personally, like to read. So I decided one day that I would create a blog dedicated to the books I love (and some I not so much love.)

I wasn't always much of a reviewer, but soon after I re-developed my love of reading (which stemmed from childhood - and sort of wore off during some of those middle years until I reached adulthood, in which I began taking walks to the library and began slowly realizing how much I really do love to read) I found myself wanting to talk about the great books I was reading, but as I stated earlier, I didn't really have anyone to talk to about books. Thus, this blog was born. On October 30, 2007 to be exact!

Mainly I post reviews on Fiction here, as I'm not much of a Non-Fiction fan (though I have managed to read a few in that category).

About Me:

I have been reading throughout my life and I truly love it. It will always be on the top of my list of hobbies, along with writing, caring for my pets, baking, and dreaming about (almost) all of the romance hero's I've come to "know" over the years. lol. I think the best thing about reading a good book is that it is able to transport you right in to the story with the characters. Feeling pretty much every emotion they are feeling, going through exactly what they are going through and experiencing new worlds and different views on/of life.

Some of my favorite Genre's are: General Fiction, (Regency, Historical, & Fantasy) Romance, Historical Fiction (especially in the period of the Holocaust), and some Women's Fiction (Chick-Lit). Oh, and something I've dubbed "Phantom-Fiction." I am a HUGE fan of The Phantom of the Opera. I've seen (a few of) the film adaptations, been to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Play (which was absolutely magical, btw), and I've read the original novel by Gaston Leroux - which really sealed my love for Erik for ever and ever. I've been mad about collecting continuations about my beloved Phantom. Some I adore, and some I definitely hate. For me he is not a hobby, he is an addiction which I am not ashamed to admit to. :p
