I now have my own copy of volumes one and two together in one book. :) YAY! Just from reading the synopsis from the back cover I know it's going to be different from the TV series that just started showing last week, but I already know I'm going to really enjoy this vampire tale. :) Much better hopes than I had for Twilight, which I just couldn't get in to.

I really liked them =) Elena definitely takes some getting used to. But both Damon and Stefan are great characters!
Bugs me that Elena is supposed to be blonded...
Yeah, I always liked Meredith more than Elena. Is Meredith in the show? I've only been half-watching, but I've only seen Bonnie and Caroline, and I have mixed feelings about Caroline being in the group.
Oh, I'm really not sure I'm going to like where they take this show.
