I finished reading The Lost World last night. I didn't find it as satisfying as Jurassic Park, though...perhaps there just wasn't enough dinosaur activity for me, the animals didn't seem the same. maybe it's just me, but I never quite figured out the cause of all the dead apatosaurs. I probably read it free and clear but it didn't click. ah well though. There weren't many characters I was fond of, either. especially Levine and Harding. I found them..over-bearing in many ways.this book was just okay to me.

also, I can't help but wonder how ever they would explain the kids' absence to their parents, especially Arby, since he was taken by the raptors and banged up pretty badly..
