Re-Organization.

Okaaay. I have re-organized myself, because once again, I was too lazy to blog! Boo.

Anyhoozer, I have some series' posts coming up (I find I rather like talking about a series I am/have just finished reading), and I have some lingering reviews that still need to be written and eventually posted..I had an idea about a series that I am almost done with and am completely loving at the moment, I think I may go into it further than I have with any other series in the past. (As far as the characters go and the series in it's entirety.) I really like the author's style and I'm already looking forward to starting her next books. :) And yes, it is a romance series. I'm still stuck on them something fierce. (There will be a lot of romance reviews trickling in over the next few weeks.) :D

Also, I'm going to re-do my review archive to include genre's so you might see a few extra pages popping up in your feeds or however you read my blog, later in the month. I'll be sure to label them well so you can ignore them if you please. (And also so I have less kinks to work out if I manage to give myself any.) It'll probably take me a little while.

That's about it for now. :)

Still Here.

I don't know what is wrong with me, but I just can't seem to get on a continuous blogging roll. I am organized, and spend time trying to come up with things to do on my blog to help it stand out a little, and reflect myself and my reading tastes, but, I don't know, I just get, well, lazy really. Though, of late I do have a better excuse than that. I was knocked back by a bad cold a couple of weeks ago. I am feeling better despite the lingering cough. I hadn't been sick in such a long time, it really set me back on things, and kicked my behind really.

Sloops.

I can't believe I haven't made a post since Halloween! I was trying really hard not to have such a long posting absence between reviews, but the memes weren't doing it for me. I either had no answer at all, or a really simple answer that wasn't really worth sharing...I did finish one amzing book though: The Complete Maus. I was just so blown away, but I wasn't sure how to review that one. So I decided to just leave it.
Anyhoozer, I wanted to talk about a challenge idea I have for February of next year. I'm not sure how interesting it is or if it even makes any sense yet, but I'm going to try my best to work out any kinks. It's called "Fairytale February." Fairytale is just like an umbrella term though. The basics of it are: to read any kind of fantasy or paranormal or vampirey, werewolf, etc. fiction. Also included would be YA stories of the same ingredients and of course, children's fairy tales. :p But it must have characters of origins that aren't well...real.
I got this idea when I first bought my copy of complete Hans Christian Andersen stories. Looking at that huge book thinking I'll never get through this. So I hatched this challenge idea. I'm thinking for reading numbers would be however many you wish. How does it sound so far? Not confusing I hope. :p
I also had another little idea of late, a sort vampire only book club, but I don't know how that would work out since I get stuck in reading trends and then they fizzle out after a while. A reading trend such as the vampire one I'm happily entangled in right now with Sookie Stackhouse and The Vampire Diaries - which I still have yet to read, btw. Ugh. I don't know. I'm not opposed to someone lifting this idea from me, now that I've thought about it this would be a bad idea for me to host, cos if I lost interest I would feel so bad if someone else had joined me on it..so please do run with this idea if you wish!
That's all for now. :)

Happy New Year!

Hey everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope the year is filled with lots of love and laughter, and of course, good books!
It's time for me to get on changing my blog since my 50 Book Challenge is over and I failed horrifyingly at it. :p I kind of knew I wouldn't read fifty books this year, so I'm not really upset about not making my challenge at all, especially since I surpassed the number of books I read last year (27) by reading 36 books this year, and that's all I really wanted to do; get past that icky number of only 27 books read, and I did. So, yay me! :)
I'm really excited about starting fresh with the new challenges I signed up for this year, which I'm pretty sure I'll have much better luck with, and hopefully I can pass last years number of 36, with this year of reading. Even if only by one book. :p
Happy New Year!
